✅ PICK OF THE WEEK
Vanguard Information Technology Index Fund (MUTF: VITAX)
Current share price: $473.10
This is the mutual fund, not the ETF, as the mutual fund has lower expense ratios
I think it will do well long-term
It will continue to gobble up all the mega-cap companies coming to market, but in a balanced way
As a conservative person on the equities side, this is what I gravitate towards

📰 NOTABLE NEWS
🏡 Existing home sales drop: According to a report from NAR, existing home sales fell 2.4% month-over-month in June, though they remain up 2.8% year-over-year. Buyers are still sensitive to mortgage rate fluctuations as affordability remains a top concern, with the median price now a record-high $440,600.
🚀 Blue Origin fundraising: Jeff Bezos’ space startup Blue Origin is raising outside capital for the first time in a massive $10 billion round that values the company at $130 billion. This raise comes on the heels of the SpaceX IPO and growing investor demand in the sector.
⚾ T206 Wagner coming to auction: A copy of the “holy grail” Honus Wagner baseball card owned by TV personality Keith Olbermann was authenticated by CGC and is coming up for auction later this summer at Love of the Game Auctions. It is a restored copy and what it sells for will test the market’s appetite for altered versions of historic cards.
🏢 CRE pricing update: The Green Street Commercial Property Price Index (CPPI) was flat in June, but is up 4.1% year-over-year, though results vary across sectors. Office and retail are up 5% annually, industrial 4%, and multifamily up 3%.
🚀 Wonder’s potential IPO: The food delivery startup founded by Marc Lore is reportedly raising hundreds of millions of dollars at a $9 billion valuation in anticipation of a potential IPO.
📜 Declaration of Independence sale: One of only 11 “Exeter Broadside” copies of the U.S.’s founding document from July 1776 was sold at auction for $3.64 million, in between the only two previous sales of the document for $2.4 million and $5.7 million.
