📰 NOTABLE NEWS

🚀 Anduril valuation doubling: The leading defense tech startup is reportedly in talks for a funding round at a $120 billion valuation, which would double its valuation from May and also represent a step up from the recent employee share sale at a reported $90 billion valuation. The company forecasts its revenue to hit more than $4 billion this year, doubling in the past year.

🏡 Home prices drop: For the first time in three years, Redfin’s data shows a year-over-year price decline in U.S. housing prices. The drop comes as buying demand hit its lowest level since at least 2021, and pending home sales hit their lowest level on record.

🤖 Physical Intelligence fundraise: The robotics startup is raising a $1 billion round at a $20 billion valuation, which would be nearly double its $11.5 billion valuation from earlier in the year and nearly quadruple its valuation from last year. The company is developing AI models and robots to perform physical tasks in real-world environments.

🪙 Crypto growth stalling: While more U.S. adults have ever owned or used crypto than ever before - rising from 18% to 22% over the past year - the percentage of Americans who used it in the last year stayed flat at 13%. This indicates a willingness to try out the technology but no growing interest in continuing to use it.

🏢 CRE investment rising: U.S. commercial real estate transaction volume hit $143 billion in Q3, with total volume jumping by 17.9% so far this year. Industrial saw the highest growth, at 41.5%, while office sales are up 22.4% and multifamily grew by just 3%.

🏀 Kobe sneaker auction: A pair of game-worn 2002-03 Air Jordan 8 "Lakers" Player Exclusives signed and inscribed by Kobe Bryant is up for auction next month, alongside a game-worn jersey from the following season.
