📈 DAILY MARKETS

✅ PICK OF THE WEEK
Alphabet (Nasdaq: GOOG)
Current share price: $333.16 (market cap: $4.02 trillion)
Google’s parent company is up nearly 70% in the past year but I believe it still has a lot of room to run and is the best bet of the Magnificent Seven going forward
Its Gemini 3 AI model has overtaken the rest of the field and led to a major agreement with rival Apple
Alphabet-owned Waymo is by far the market leader in self-driving cars and is on track to see its valuation skyrocket and perhaps be spun off
Alphabet also owns a significant share of SpaceX — reportedly around 7% — which could be on track for a massive IPO this year
In a longer-term play, Google’s quantum computing division has had major recent breakthroughs and is a strong bet to end up being a market leader in that industry
For public market investors who want exposure to AI, quantum computing, SpaceX, and Waymo, this is the best way to get all of that in one investment
Here’s a list of our past expert investing picks.

📰 NOTABLE NEWS
🚀 Female founders: Last year was by far the best year on record for startups with at least one female founder, as they raised $127.3 billion, nearly triple the amount raised in 2024 and double the previous record set in 2021. However, numbers for female-only founding teams have decreased, making up only 6.0% of deals and 1.2% of funding in 2025.
🪙 Crypto bill on hold: After Senate Banking chair Tim Scott postponed a vote on the crypto market structure bill, a number of senators from both sides of the aisle said that the bill is not dead and they expect it to still move forward this quarter.
🎨 Jimmy Carter paintings: Four paintings by the late U.S. President are being sold by Christie’s this month, all with high estimates of just $15,000, though early bidding has already exceeded that for two of the lots.
🚀 Fintech funding increase: Global funding to fintech startups rose by 27% in 2025, and matched pre-pandemic numbers, though overall deal count fell by 23%.
🏡 Housing costs decline: The median monthly housing payment fell by 5% in the past month and 5.5% year-over-year, as mortgage rates have decreased while housing prices remain mostly flat.
🚘 Barrett-Jackson Scottdale auction: The major car auction begins this weekend and will run through next week, with a number of rare and celebrity-linked cars that should sell for in excess of seven-figures, while the entire auction looks to surpass the $198 million the event brought in last year.
