🏢 Multifamily vacancies drop: Rental demand outstripped new supply in Q1, pushing the national vacancy rate down to 4.8%. Sixty-three of the sixty-nine tracked markets showed positive net absorption rates, with Honolulu and New York showing the lowest vacancies.
🤖 DeepSeek’s first funding round: The Chinese AI startup is reportedly seeking to raise a round of more than $3 billion at a valuation of up to $50 billion, well above previous reports of a $20 billion valuation a few weeks ago.
